ACell Vet™ Powder For Treatment of Urinary Incontinence

ACell Vet, the Regenerative Medicine company for the veterinarian, now offers ACell Vet™ Powder for treatment of medically non-responsive dogs with sphincter mechanism incompetence.

In a simple cystoscopic procedure, a mixture of the ACell Vet™ Powder, sterile saline and sterile glycerin is injected into the urinary sphincter at three locations. In a study conducted by Jeff Wood, DVM, Northside Veterinary Hospital, Hillsdale MI, the experimental group maintained continence for a minimum of six (6) months, while the control group receiving the placebo of sterile saline and sterile glycerin maintained continence an average of only 2.3 weeks.

The ACell Vet™ UI Kit is available with all the materials necessary for each procedure in one convenient package. Included in the kit is one 0.1g vial of the ACell Vet™ Powder, one 2ml vial of saline, one 1.5 ml vial of glycerin and a 23 gauge, 10" needle for injection, all provided sterile and ready to use.
